Fellow Redskins Fans, Do You Want Michael Vick? |
|
It seems the most logical choice. The Redskins' owner wants a new QB, and he wants a star QB. If Vick could regain his talent level, it would be huge for the Redskins.
Thoughts?

1. Well, I have suggested that a few times here, but the resident Deadskin |
|
fans are not ready to accept reality. Danny Snyder wants him and will get him.
Come on Danny-boy, do it! Let Jason go. Danny-boy idol may just pick Jason up off of waivers!

3. God no. We want a 'better' QB, not necessarily a 'new' one. Jason will be fine with a decent OL.nt |

4. Not just Redskins fans. |
|
Us Raiders fans want the Redskins to take him as well. It would keep Al Davis from taking him.

5. As an Eagles fan I sure hope they get him. |
|
Because he sucks, he's always sucked and with two years out of the game he'll suck even more. We'll have a nice warm welcome for that asshole at The Linc.

9. I have New York and Dallas fans tell me the same. |
|
And fans from outside the division as well. It seems most everyone loves him and wishes they had him except for the idiots in this town. The amount of abuse he gets here is ridiculous. We've enjoyed the most prolonged period of success in the modern history of the franchise under his command and he's treated like a dog. I consider myself fortunate to have witnessed live so many of his incredible plays and I want him to retire here. I'm not at all sure that's going to happen. It's inexplicable.

There are, MAYBE, 4 QB's in the league right now, who have had more success and have had more to do with their team's success than him.
Not sure how that sustained excellence under intense scrutiny hasn't been appreciated in a town like Philly. You'd think he would just be a hero for taking the heat for this long!
My guys had to trade for a QB so we could have someone good. We haven't had a genuine pro QB since Harbaugh and haven't had a probowl quality one since McMahon. We'd have taken #5 at any time over his career. Philly has had him, and don't appreciate him.
Like you said, it's inexplicable. GAC

11. Sonny got driven out of Philly, but fans had the valid excuse that he was |
|
QB for an elderly team at the time. The van Brocklin generation was at the end of their playing years. So, Sonny was collateral damage in their hostility for the team's not planning for the future.
If I recall correctly, the press was a lot nicer to Cunningham, even though he was a shit that didn't even invite the defense to his wedding.

he's a lousy QB IMO. We have a QB and we have a nice running back. Don't need an ex-felon.
