Big Papi is now below the Mendoza Line. It is affecting the team. |
They are pitching around Pedroia to get to Papi! Are we already up to 5 or 6 LOB today? At least Lugo is riding the bench....time for Papi to drop down in the order or take a trip to Pawtucket to find his swing (if it can indeed be found). Sad thing for Red Sox fans to witness....

Their "best" hitter is actually their worst hitter.
The longer the Red Sox keep running out a DH who can't hit .300, the dumber they look.

for a long time and is well-liked...they're not just gonna hang him out to dry.

9. they had no problem dumping Nomar |
or Manny. The Sox have proven they're no believers of franshise players.

12. both were big parts of the team and at one point were well liked |
so my point still stands, why wouldn't they drop a player who, despite being a big part of the teama and well liked, is ina huge slump? Both Nomar and Manny had drop offs in their production too, right before they were dropped.
