Attention pitching fans
If you have DirecTV's Extra Innings package or live in Northern California tune your TV Friday night to the A's at Giants game. Cy Young award winner Tim Lincecum is starting against Vin Mazzaro, who has set an Oakland A's record for consecutive shutout innings by a starter at the beginning of their major league career (13 2/3 innings). Can the light hitting A's solve Tim Lincecum? Can the light hitting Giants crack through the rookie Mazzaro's mastery? This could be one of the great pitching matchups of the year!

1. Mazzaro has a no-hitter going
through 4 innings. Are we about to see the Giants once again be humbled by the A's? Maybe an earthquake will save them...

2. leave it to the cowardly Giants
to put down a bunt to break up the no-hitter. Cowardly douchebags.

5. doing it honestly is one thing
Edited on Sat Jun-13-09 01:44 PM by Onceuponalife
doing it with a bunt because you can't get a hit honestly is a what a chicketshit does. Not surprised you would support this. This is the equivalent of a guy hitting .400 and sitting out the last game of the season because he is afraid of blowing it. Cowardly douches.

*edit for powerful indignation*

6. You do know that a perfectly placed bunt is harder to hit than a single?
Oh and that lead off bunt led to 3 runs in the 5th.

Now go bitch about cheerleaders.

7. You know we're approaching the end of civilization when I find myself
agreeing with something trumad says.

How can you know so little about Major League Baseball?

I understand you feel the need to jump on the LA Dodger bandwagon, so you feel better about your life, but how embarrassing.

Embarrassing with a capital "E"!!!
