I'm Going To Be A Presenter/Panelist At A Convention Next Month
Never done that before. The NIEA (National Indian Education Association) Convention will be in Milwaukee. I'll be presenting on a new curriculum on the Mohican Nation (Stockbridge Munsee Community). I have started teaching the curriculum this famm. I'm putting together a Power Point presentation with pictures and video. Eeew, I hate taping myself teaching. But I wanted to show some examples of this wonderful teaching unit. I'm learning a lot as well. I'm a little nervous. Hope I don't screw it up. All I can do is my best.

Will any of you be there?

2. I'll look forward to hearing about it.
Travel out of state is not in my, or my district's, budget any year soon.

3. You'll be great
I'd like to hear the buzz about this crappy Race To The Top nonsense.

4. Earlier In The Week I'll Be Going To Madison To Represent Our School
For a Wisconsin "School Of Promise" award. It is given to school districts with a high poverty rate who perform well on state tests.

Here is a little info. There's more info on the award at the bottom.

The week of Oct. 19th will indeed be a busy one for me.
