Colorado Gay Rights Bill Moves Forward
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/04/042105colorado.htm

Going into the session it was unclear if the bill would have enough votes to carry, but the clincher came when Sen. Abel Tapia made a personal appeal, telling the chamber about the bias experienced by his own gay son.

"Until you have that in your family and it affects you directly, don't be talking about 'abomination,' because I don't believe that's true," Tapia said.

His emotional appeal came after Sen. Ron Teck (R-Grand Junction) the legislation could force his family "to accept an abomination."

People like Teck are the abomination. Fucking morans.
