As posted in another reply, sometimes threads disappear and there are many possible reasons.

When this happens to one of your threads or comments (comments subthreads can be deleted), you should PM a moderator.

Moderators are volunteers, they may not get back to you as quickly as you like.

I know we might think that there's a high tech clean room with 54 inch plasma monitors and they're just picking up on every keystroke, but it's not that way.

It's more like people just like you and me, often at home with kids or significant others, and pets, doing more things than moderating.

Of course I'm not sure.

But they will get back to you if you are patient, so be patient.

About every three months or so, something happens to stir up the pot, and then we all get reminded just how marginal some folks consider us to be. It could be a Larry Craig or a Donny McClurkin or a Rick Warren...basically, same shit, different day.

The Craig fiasco was a doozy, I must say. I had to take a few months off during that. I'm finding the Warren nonsense much easier to ride out...probably because I at least don't have to defend the morality of homosexuality this time.
