Evangelical Group Disrupts Charlotte Gay Pride

Several dozen members of a conservative Christian group disrupted Pride celebrations in Charlotte, North Carolina over the weekend.

Wearing red shirts, the members of Operation Save America, harassed people entering a city park. On the sidewalk the group set up a loudspeaker system to preach and play religious music in an attempt to drown out the Pride celebration.

Operation Save America had attempted to get the festival cancelled. The group complained about "overt sexuality" at last year's event. Charlotte City Council narrowly approved this year's Pride but imposed a number of conditions.

When the fundees come to interrupt pride ..

Why not do the buys bunny shocker technique, walk up to them, have a person approach one by one, face to face and kiss the,asshole on their face..what would he do? sputter and wipe the cooties off like a middle schooler? Jesus would kiss people and call them brother..Oh the cognitive dissonance this would cause..

This affection technique is how some evangelists work crowds..
Why not walk up to these pieces of shit invading OUR space and embrace them,as you ignore every word they say, and than move on proving you are no threat and that you pity these idiots and you don't desire sex with_them_ only peace..I bet upon the threat of what looks like acceptance these theocratic creeps will RUN like hell out of our pride rather than appear gay in front of cameras or tolerate being hugged in a friendly way by the same sex and be dis-empowered by people who are not even going to register their hate or Christians justifications as opposition..

I mean how can you bash obvious friendliness compassion and acceptance and not look like a total asshole to every observer who hasn't drunk the kool aid??.
