Do any of you watch Rick and Steve (Happiest Gay Couple)? |
|
It is a total scream. Their take on Ann Coulter being interviewed by Anderson Cooper was priceless.

6. I just watched the movie, again, from 2000! OMG! I laughed and |
|
sobbed. It has few of the same actors, of course Brother Boy could never be played by anyone other than Leslie Jordan. Beau Bridges plays GW and Grandma Peggy has already died! Highly recommend the film even though off sync from the series.

7. The series is a prequel |

I watched the movie about half way through the series and both were hoots.

And for a while it came on right before "Rick and Steve" so I watched both of em. "Rick and Steve" is hilarious, and I can't believe some of the things that come out of those puppets' mouths. "Sordid Lives" is a hoot, and anyone from the South can definitely identify with the characters: crazy aunts, big hair, religious hypocrites, etc. In spite of being over the top, sometimes the characters really touch my heart with something they say or do. And Beth Grant is absolutely fabulous as Sissy Hickey. "Sweet Baby Jesus!!"
