5. Simon Cowell was ready to cut an album with Adam already.

He said he though Adam has the potential to be a worldwide superstar. That won't change because the vote was freeped. In fact this may let Adam get to work on his album quicker. Also, Kris seems like a good guy. I don't have bad feelings to him because the haters altered the vote with their phone banks. He could do well too, and I don't think we have seen the last of Adam and Kris singing together. They seemed like genuine friends and their voices sound good together.

6. There's a huge backlash against the haters on all the american idol sites.

A lot of people - mostly straight are outraged that Adam lost because of being gay.

7. He lost because more people voted for Kris.

No need to make up conspiracy theories about it. Although there were people voting for each for non-talent related reasons, more folks appear to like the musical stylings of Mr. Allen more than Mr. Lambert, and voted with their fingers.

8. There are Evangelicals who said that there was a big organized drive. Others just hated him.

Sure there were some people who liked Kris's singing better - there are a percentage of people who still like Salieri over Mozart. BUT for the most part most people on music ability ALONE are going to choose Adam. Music critics and people in the industry were raving about him. I think the thing that gave Kris the edge was the Evangelicals, red staters, conservatives who were turned off by his goth appearance.
