Equality: not just about GLBT vs. straight.

I see this as being about equal rights between men and women.

In most of the 50 states, men have a basic right to marry a woman.

Women have a basic right to marry a man.

I really don't see any more clear-cut a case of 'seperate but equal'.

And the supreme court has told us time and time again that 'seperate but equal' is not constitutional.

Right now men and women, in most states, do not have equal rights. They have seperate sets of rights. And that is wrong.

And the worst part is, the haters will be gearing up to take away equal rights in the other states that have adopted them. This is heartbreaking. I'm so angry and sick I need to calm down.
