"No Nonsense in November" camapign in Texas (anti-gay amendment proposed)
The GOP-dominated Texas legislature wants to amend the Texas Constitution to codify wholesale discrimination against gay couples in terms of marriage, civil unions, insurance, medical coverage, inheritance/property rights, etc. This requires submitting the amendment for a vote this coming November.

2. If even one state passes such legislation, it will be a sign
that others may do the same. This is an extremely disturbing thing to read and I truly hope it goes nowhere.
