"Murder In Laramie: The Meaning of Matt"

It was, as expected, a bit of a tear jerker. You get to know Matthew better from reading it. I didn't realize he had Raleigh connections until I read the book for instance. I do have one question about something else I learned from the book. Do any of you know what the Catholic Church did to the prosecutor in Laramie? The book only mentions it in general terms but they evidently smeared him personally in order to try to get him to not seek the DP in the case.
