Signature picture, offensive or funny? |
|
Just wondering how many people here either find my signature picture (which links to a comic/storyboard type story) either offensive or funny.

2. I think it's pretty good. |
|
I'd be hard pressed to find a reason for it to be offensive, unless you're a right-winger with no sense of humor (which, coincidentally, accounts for about 99.99999% of right-wingers).

8. Well, the reason I ask... |
|
...is because it plays on the stereotypical image of gay men. Plus there are ex-ex-gays around here, I think, and although I think it's funny my humor sometimes seems to deviate into areas that others find offensive. (I just think it's because I can find something funny in everything, although I think that is a quickly evaporating trait and being replaced by some dark form of cynicism and general dubiousness.)

Sometimes, thopse if us outside of a particular group (men, straight, black... whatever) may miss something that is glaringly obvious to someone else from within that group.

5. Very funny...no repub will ever touch the handle on their |

suitcase again after Rex Ray handles their luggage...plus they'll be plenty nervous when the bellman tries to point out the finer points of the hotel room, adjusts the thermostat (can't touch that again either) and asks if they want ice...just chill, baby.
Thanks, that is fun!

And I'm gay! This just shows more right-wing hypocrisy... as in ex-gays who really aren't all that "ex" LOL

Ya gotta keep a sense of humor! I think this type is called 'irony', could be 'sarcasm' ...not sure cause I was out smoking pot during that part of the class then participating in unspeakable acts of homo-sects-u-allity....the next day I was incurably gay.

Someone tried to "heal" me once. It'd been an online "friend" who I knew was religious, but didn't think much of it. We met for coffee. While sipping our Starbucks on a bench in the park, she whipped out her Bible and started quoting verses at me. It was some sort of ambush.
I'm pretty sure my sneakers left skid marks. I practically vaulted into the nearest cab.
It was very strange.
