Howdy
Okay so how are my gay DUers friends doing today?

Are you all ready for Christmas?

What's going on?

I'm bored. Talk to me.

LOL

12. Great...
I am doing fantastic. We are having our Christmas Auction at work where all the proceeds go to charity. I am trying to win a bunch of stuff. I want a Shrek gift basket they have and also a mexican fiesta gift basket. These people keep outbidding me.

Pennsylvania - the drive should be nice.

13. what goodies come in the gift baskets?
at least the money will go to a good cause...Im giving donations to progressive causes/charities for the gifts this holiday season. Screw buying crappy things. I'm in the real spirit this year! lol

Yea, it will be nice to drive. Hopefully the weather will be good, but I have to wake up ass-crack early (for me) to be on the road by 8 am....

Planning anything fun for the holidays?

Soup mixes, homemade goodies, cookies, flour, imported goodies. I can tell better when I actually get the item. I won't have the final results until 4:00 CST.

2. I'm as ready for Christmas as I'll ever be.
Although, I'm a bit of a humbug. After my dad passed away a year ago, the holidays are particularly bittersweet (especially on my mom). Plus, the whole thing is so stressful.

Otherwise, this gay DU'er (living in Chicago) is ok. He wishes he was with his boyfriend, though (said boyfriend lives in Toronto, and we can't get together for Christmas, like we usually do)

4. Okay...
What if by chance your said boyfriend suprised you for Christmas and you are not enjoying the holiday because you are a humbug. He may just turn around and leave - so get in the CHirstmas Spirit - or else.

23. Nooooooooooooooo!!!!
I'm not ready for Christmas. Well I am, but I'm not. LOL

I am in a total femme panic because Sapph will be here in 22 days time, and I have so much to do, only I can't remember everything I have to do. LOL

Don't get me wrong, I am so looking forward to seeing her (we haven't seen each other now in 14 months) so this trip is long overdue. And I am really looking forward to spending Christmas and the New Year with her because we haven't actually done that since 2001.

But regardless I am still in a panic. I have been searching around everywhere for a very special Christmas gift I want to give her, and I just can't find the right one. And I can't mention it here, because Sapph is likely to stumble across this post at some point. LOL

Anyway, David, are you ready for Christmas?

29. Ohhhhh!
I don't think I want to go that route again. :)

I was on Zoloft years ago for severe depression, I don't really want to do that again.

Plus in the job I have now, it isn't recommended we take medication of this kind.

I'll be ok. I usually end up in femme panic mode and nervous just before Sapph gets here. On the day that I go to pick her up at the airport I am usually quite calm. :)

34. Hell no I'm not ready
It's only 12/2. I've got plenty of time! I always end up waiting till the last moment, because I never know what to get. Thankfully, I don't have that many people to buy for. Just my mom, my brother, and my partner. My partner and I will will buy some gifts for friends together. But really it's not that much. So I procrastinate!
