As I was trolling along my Facebook, I noticed an article posted by Plunderbund on my wall with the same title as this post. At first I thought it was a joke, but when I watched the FoxNews clip (around 4 1/2 minutes long) I was astounded, although I suppose I shouldn't be. Some how, the Republicans are now blaming ELMO for boys growing up and "becoming" gay. *facepalm* Ken Blackwell states that Elmo "is a direct assault on the moral fiber of this nation". I thought the assault was coming from those running this country. When all else fails, blame ELMO!

I hate it when those people claim to be Christians. I really do- gives the rest of us a bad name. People that act that way aren't true followers of Christ. If they were, they'd be tolerant and forgiving, not these hate-filled yahoos hell-bent on making everyone else just as miserable as they are. Besides, there's that pesky separation of Church and State.
