Illinois Governor's Conflicting Views On DADT
http://www.365gay.com/Newscon06/05/051206illgov.htm

Gov. Rod Blagojevich is calling for a review of a gay man's discharge from the Illinois Air National Guard but wouldn't say whether he believes the man was treated unfairly.
A top aide to the Democratic governor said Blagojevich supports the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy, a statement that surprised some gay leaders. They said Blagojevich has criticized the policy in the past.

"He has a long record of opposing 'don't ask, don't tell,"' said Rick Garcia, executive director of the gay rights group Equality Illinois.

Blagojevich said he has asked Attorney General Lisa Madigan to review the case, but her office denied getting any such request.

1. The Governor has some serious explaining to do about this situation.
This is inexcusible, IMO.
