Reports: Recruiters Ignoring Gay Policy

According to reporter Rick Sallinger, "A CBS4 Investigation into recruiting by the United States Army found recruiters telling potential soldiers that it wasn't a problem if they were gay. The recruiters told people showing interest in being a soldier to keep their homosexuality to themselves....."

President-elect of Christian Coalition resigns

The Reverend elected to take over as president of the Christian Coalition of America said he will not assume the role because of differences in philosophy.

The Rev. Joel Hunter, of Longwood's Northland, A Church Distributed, said Wednesday that the national group would not let him expand the organization's agenda beyond opposing abortion and gay marriage.

And this is interesting because the new leader of a right wing fundamentalist group actually steps down and says "not so much with your agenda."
