Gaydar CEO Gary Frisch found dead in London

Gary Frisch, Gaydar co-founder and chairman of QSoft Consulting, 38, has died from unknown causes and was discovered at his London home Saturday.

Although no foul play is suspected, suicide has not been ruled out as a possibility.

QSoft Consulting, owners of Gaydar Radio, released the following statement about Frisch's unexpected death:

"Gary was a highly regarded leader and colleague who cared first and foremost about the gay and lesbian community that we serve. He was an accomplished entrepreneur and a very generous man who also cared deeply about the people who worked for and with him.

"Gary's legacy as a co-founder of the Gaydar phenomenon is immense and it is one that we shall both celebrate and continue into the future.

LONDON, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Gary Frisch, who founded the gay dating site Gaydar with his then-partner, has died in a fall from his eighth-floor flat in London.

Police were trying to determine if the cause was suicide or accident, The Independent reported. Frisch, 38, was found by his neighbors on Saturday. He lived in a penthouse in Wandsworth just south of the Thames River.

Frisch and Henry Badenhorst, his partner, moved from South Africa to London in 1997 and founded Gaydar two years later. They remained business partners after ending their personal relationship last year, with Frisch serving as chairman and Badenhorst managing director of QSoft Consulting, Gaydar's parent company.
