1. Unless they say McClurkin in the thread title, they do.
These are the days of Obama Underground, where GLBT-themed threads are automatically put on ignore.

Besides, there are more important things to do than discuss GLBT issues here. Like calling Senator Clinton a monster and a bitch. :sarcasm:

2. I agree with you.
I would imagine most of us are on ignore as well. Those of us who are not thrilled, to say the least, with BO and his merry band of bigots parade are probably on many ignore lists at this time.

7. Honestly, the merry band bothers me, but
Michelle bothers me much, much more. Traditionally, the spouses have been able to present a more friendly stance. When Bill was running the first time, it was Hillary. Now with Hillary running, it's Bill. With Edwards, it was Elizabeth. Kucinich was like a dream, which is guaranteed to turn off most people, even if they agree with him 100% on everything from the War to the economy.

Michelle has no softened stance. No friendly outreach.

A Democratic Senator from Illinois should be completely incapable of losing my full-fledged support. Somehow Barack has lost it and the support for Hillary is much weaker than it should be.

Not looking forward to a really wonderful 8 years with either as President unless the Congress starts leading the way on civil rights.

3. YES.
Always interesting to see the number of views and the LACK of replies. I tried questions at the Obama Groupa and the Indiana Group. No replies at Obama group at all. Indiana very little.

5. If it makes a good point or I think I need to say something I don't ignore it.
Even then there are times I just read it and don't have it as a priority. But there are other threads that I don't give a priority but still read them.

Posts regardless of where they are posted: Sometimes the way it is posted will determine whether it will get any response beyond opening it. There are posts I don't even bother reading because it doesn't say anything. Or as in the case of Primares I have gotten disgusted with the level of discussion.

I don't generally go into GLBT as a rule. But if something shows up in the hodgepodge area that is worth attention regarding GLBT then I check it out.

6. Unless they want to fight with you about something
The post will sink like a rock. We're unimportant people except when it comes to our votes, campaign donations and other forms of support. Oh yeah, we're convenient scapegoats for election losses, natural disasters and whatever other problems befall society. :sarcasm:

9. Does anyone know how to wash blood off one's hands?
Apparently, my gay homosexual non-support of Senator Obama's campaign has led or will lead to 152,000 deaths in Iraq. :silly:

12. I'm done
I'm not giving my time or money to causes that use me, then say I have to wait to be given my inalienable rights.

All of my time and the very, very tiny amount of money I have to give are going directly to GLBTQ groups.

13. You and me both
I'm tired of being a cash/vote/support ATM for people who want to throw me, at best, crumbs in return--then turn around and blame me for everything that goes wrong.

To put it more crudely, I'm sick of being their butt-monkey. They need to earn me from now on.

Then, everyone comes out to cluck and tut-tut about how terrible it is. We're of more use dead than alive, I think.
