I feel that if Ms. Kern will not apologize-then she should be asked to volunteer with a LGBT organization, work with the LGBT community, and to work with those of the Islamic faith to learn compassion.

We cannot make her take back her words. She has her 1st Amendment right. Yet, we can request that she be asked to learn care, understanding, and compassion.

What shocks me is that her degrees are in Sociology, Social Studies, and she serves in the following areas:

I'd love to see protesters outside her office, home or even her church on Sunday morning. The more publicity and media attention this gets the better. I want her to be very uncomfortable. I have sent an email to her office every day since Monday and still not phone call,email or anything. I am all for free speech but as a public official, I think this is wrong.
