You locked a thread where we were discussing sexuality in, well, sexual terms. There was nothing derogatory about it, yet you discourage our talking about it openly. As a fellow progressive, I hope you know better than to become the "sex police." As long as we are conducting our conversation in an appropriate and mature manner, I see no reason why this board's bylaws should prohibit such discussion. Without discussion, we are ignorant.

I encourage my fellow DUers to chime in on this issue of free speech, as our government is already doing a good job making sure that sex is not talked about.

1. I am not familiar with the thread you speak of,

but I believe that anything - absolutely anything - aught to be discussed openly and rationally. As long as adults are acting like adults, there is no reason to censor any discussion.

But I suspect that there is a desire to avoid explicit language, whilst I certainly took no offence and found the thread to be interesting (as part of a wider discussion), I can understand why it has been locked.
