I've seen all of the actual movies numerous times and the character "Gandalf" was asexual if anything unless it was something so subtle to go unnoticed by the average viewer.

I also know that Ian McKellan is gay, so then, if he played Spartacus it would be "Homo Spartacus" I assume. All I am saying is that there is nothing gay about the character Gandalf.
