5. Same As Every Single Study To Date Has Found
The Lancet subsequently retracted the paper mentioned in the referenced article. Actually, 10 of the 13 original authors retracted it, and it turned out that Wakefield, more than a year prior to publication, had been personally paid more that $500k by lawyers looking to sue vaccine manufacturers. It is utterly irresponsible that the WP did not mention that the Lancet study was withdrawn and the main author found to be deeply corrupt.

Every other study has found zero link, including studies in Northern Europe which are typically the best and freest of outside influence in the world.

7. I noticed that the Autism Association responded by moving the goal posts.
It is amusing that they can critique any study that debunks their crackpot hypotheses, but they can't seem to conduct any studies that prove that they are right.

No amount of science will ever convince people who would rather remain ignorant.

8. I saw that also.
This was just one of many theories, just because they disproved this one, doesn't mean the vaccines still didn't do it. So I guess as long as there are pissed off parents to come up with obscure theories then it may always be the vaccines fault.

10. Lack of Association between Measles Virus Vaccine and Autism with Enteropathy: A Case-Control Study
Methodology/Principal Findings

The objective of this case-control study was to determine whether:

1. children with GI disturbances and autism are more likely than children with GI disturbances alone to have MV RNA and/or inflammation in bowel tissues and if;

2. autism and/or GI episode onset relate temporally to receipt of MMR.

The sample was an age-matched group of US children undergoing clinically-indicated ileocolonoscopy.

Cases: 25 children w/ autism & GI disorders (23 boys: 15 under 6 y/o & 2 girls: both over 8 y/o)

Controls: 13 children w GI disturbance only (9 boys: 7 under 6 y/o & 4 girls: 1 under 6 y/o)

Note: The study sample included two sibling pairs; three were controls (2 males, 1 female) and one was a case (male).
