Christian Gyno with Bibles & crosses all over his office |

It gave me the creeps. We wont be back, especially after seeing Bill Maher's 'Religulous'. It was a hilarious film but it made me worried about a guy who beleives that a snake talked, woman came from a rib, and animals walked off a boat.
I wonder what he'd say if there was an unwanted pregnancy?

We've yelped and asked around but will just go to a nearby Planned Parenthood. I've donated and supported so I don't feel like we're using resources. But We've never been to one before and not sure how it works.

2. or if you were delivering and there was a choice between your life and that of your baby... |

The life of the baby is more important to folks like that.

and I would NEVER want to go to a religious gyno. I want a doctor who cares about medicine first. Not God.
If my doctor were Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist, I wouldn't care. But I wouldn't want them to advertise it all over their freaking office. I wouldn't go back either.

5. That would definitely make me twitchy |

Finding a pro-choice doctor is a huge issue for me, because I refuse to use a doctor whose dogma will trump my medical care. And this is normally such difficult info to find out, so look on the bright side: At least you know he's a nutcase before you're in the stirrups in his office.
As for an unwanted pregnancy, he'd probably drop you as a patient.
