Medical insurance is a losing bet for all. |
|
For an Insurance Company, there is a bet made that you won’t get hurt, injured or sick... and thusly, if a person gets sick, injured or needs some form of medical assistance, the insurance company loses on the bet. Theoretically the insurance company makes a profit if the person seeking insurance ends up not needing it. This is what drives insurance in general The reality is this: There is not a person on the planet that will not at some point need some form of medical treatment or assistance. This being the case, the Insurance industry already knows it faces a losing bet unless it stacks the odds in its favor. As a result, insurance companies do all they can to stack the deck in their favor… telling doctors what procedures they may perform, what medicines may or may not be proscribed, and even how long a person may reside within a hospital. In effect, insurers are playing doctor. In my humble opinion, it’s long past time to file a medical malpractice suit against the insurance industry.
The bottom line is this: Show me a successful medical insurance company and I’ll show you a company that is screwing over its customers.
Just had the need to get that off my chest

2. Legalized gambling. Insurance Co's are out to make money. |

Some are worse than others for sure, but this is what they are for. It is long past time to get health care out of the hands of insurance companies.

3. For-profit health insurance is a racket. |

A premium-collecting claim-rejecting racket.
Shut it down.
