UK: New American Know Nothing Movement
"New American Know Nothing Movement " has a nice ring to it.

http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/united-kingdom/090813/opinion-defending-the-nhs

"The simple fact is that the people of this country love the NHS, even when they complain about it. And many of them are getting downright angry about the way its reputation is being dragged through the mud by the revived Know Nothing Movement sweeping across America this summer."

1. A shame cnn took away 'international news', after lying & saying how
important it was to know what the rest of the world thinks about the U.S. Will they buy full page ads in the Washington Times for this? We will not hear it, & the people that need to know of it the most read that paper. Also Weekly Standard, ads on Fox News would be nice; I am curious if they would be declined, like other ads.

3. Why should they buy full page ads?
There's no benefit for those other countries to spend money buying ads in American newspapers to counter the false claims and twisted facts about their health systems.
While I have spoken to several Canadians and Brits about how they feel on their respective systems and claims that are being made against them, and most agree
that they are mostly outright lies and distortions.

But, the people in those countries would rather see the money spent in their respective health systems rather than spent to counter claims in the US.

5. because we are exporting our hypocrites to them? because it would
ultimately benefit Americans makes it ok to ignore? It has to personally affect them? Plus there's that whole newer story, their Tories are connected to our Neo-cons.
