Mars pictures reveal frozen sea.......
A huge, frozen sea lies just below the surface of Mars, a team of European scientists has announced.

The team think a catastrophic event flooded the landscape five million years ago and then froze out.

"This is an area where there are a lot of river features but no-one has ever seen a sea before, and certainly no-one has ever seen pack ice before," he told the BBC News website.

1. From reading this article...
I would have to say that if it is fact then there no longer leaves doubt in my mind that there was life on mars.

What more can you expect from an addled brain hopelessly corrupted with religious metaphor and mystical illusions.

15. All the planning materials were clearly on public display ...
... at your local offices on Alpha Centuri.

What do you mean, you haven't developed interstellar spaceflight yet? Well, really, how can you be expected to be listened to if you don't take an interest in your community? Energize the destructor beams.

I don't know, apathetic bloody planet, I've got no sympathy at all ...

14. Mars was once in the "habitable" zone of our solar system
And this looks like it might confirm it for sure. But the frame for life to exist on Mars was probably very short- too short to allow the necessary evolutionary time to allow complex life- due to the fact Mars is too small to hold an atmosphere (which is the result of many reasons, one of them being plate techtonics).
Still, this is AWESOME news. I'm sure we'll find some remains of bacteria...oo.
