Human Brain Tissue Made From Stem Cells
http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/11/06/brain-cells-stem.html

This looks promising especially for Alzhiemers patients. Now that we have a president in favor of stem cell research, hopefully we can start putting an end to these horrible diseases. I do apologize for making you click on the link. I can't figure out how to get the nice gray box I keep seeing.

when research will be allowed to go on full speed ahead.

I wonder, would it be of help to Creutzfeldt-Jakob patients. Granted the prions would keep eating away at the tissue, but surely replacing it periodically might be of some help?
