Then, when your crew retaliate they arrest the lot of you and The Farley Mowat. The descriptions of what's happening are disgusting. Corrupt bastards. You just know that all Watson is thinking in his mind is "ramming speed!"

The govt. up north looks as if parts are just as crooked as ours. Go figure.

2. I don't know why, but I'm amazed

at the level the Canadian Coast Guard has stooped to today. I have been thinking about Capt. Watson and his crew all day. I am sending good karma and vibes their way. :hi:

3. What's hypocritical (surprise, surprise) is that

when SSCS scuttles a ship for appropriate reasons, they get called terrorists. When the Canadian Coast Guard tries it, for inappropriate reasons, they're "upholding the law" or something. Beautiful.

Doublespeak that would make Karl Rove proud. Why don't the Canadians just go all the way and call it "Seal Liberation" as opposed to a seal hunt.

I'm trying to keep it kicked with information regarding the hunt. It's been all over the international news wires!

Even Aljazeera's covering it. I'm sorry Minstrel Boy's so uninformed about the animal rights movement, but the Seal Hunt involves the environmentalist orgs too. I really don't want it to turn into a flame war, which happens all the time with animal issues, it's become a great educational site right now, if we keep our cool :)
