I've encountered just two posters so far that don't get it, and that was in a thread I started about tofu. It's still active if you wanna check it out.
Most folks in the lounge are cool about it. They'd better be. I'm a regular lounge lizard, and I just went meat-free nine days ago.

And the message is spot on!
Pigs are wonderful creatures! As a teen, I visited a friend who lived on a farm with outside dogs, cats, chickens, cattle & more recently, two pigs. Her mother was so against getting the pigs, but after a couple of months, she fell in love with them. She was surprised at how affectionate & friendly they were & how they would follow her around as she attended the other animals.

We had a regular boarder, Corky. She was a Vietnameese pot bellied pig that lived like a dog :) Too cool!
