Is Bill Maher a vegetarian/vegan? |
|
I was watching some older episodes tonight on my TiVO, and have noticed he is very much for animal rights - I've never heard him mention anything about being a veggie though. Does anyone know for sure about this?
Either way, he's incredibly brilliant, progressive, and always defends animals (I know I've seen him do a commercial for the SPCA or some other big animal welfare group). What more could a girl want? :loveya:

But every once in a while he infuriates me. I used to watch his show on network tv, and he'd come out with some anti-feminist comments on occasion that made me end up stop watching his show. For a few weeks or months. Then I'd usually come back. There was just too little on tv worth watching for me to totally give up.
I remember he had Ingrid Newkirk on as a guest once, before I could fully appreciate it. He's definitely made a lot of comments on there about not eating meat being better for the planet, and your body. I didn't catch on back then that he was a vegetarian though. :)

3. I've noticed that, too! |

But I just want to scream at him when he does...have you SEEN the total bimbos he dates? No wonder he thinks the way he does about women! :eyes:

4. I think he picks bimbos on purpose. |

Unfortunately, some really smart men are afraid of meeting their match. They want somebody around who won't challenge them (and hurt their egos) so they pick only women who will make them feel "good" about themselves. Quite an unfulfilling way to live, I would think.
