|
any ideas? I am out of onions, peppers, and tomato sauce, but I have tomato paste and stewed tomatoes. I have all kinds of pasta and rice etc...
I am thinking of a goulash type dish using the stewed tomatoes. But am open to suggestions......

1. I had those the other night with some tarragon rice and grilled zuccs |
|
I'd just serve them up like any other meat, with whatever on the side

2. I'd just fry 'em up and eat 'em with the stewed tomatoes |
|
Put the suasages in a frying pan and cook 'em slooooow. Let 'em get nice and brown and crunchy on the outside.
Don't tell anybody, but I like 'em like that, on a hot dog bun ....... with mustard! Nuttin' but mustard.

3. We don't have much bread either |

How about scalloped tomatoes and sausage?
Mash up saltines and layer with stewed tomatoes and sausages? I have some cheese I could grate in there, too....
