Good dip for veggie tray
We're having a holiday partay and half-assed baby shower tomorrow afternoon. I've pre-made nearly all the food. All I need now is a dip for the veggie tray. Any suggestions? Spinach dip and ranch dip are choices of last resort for me. (I know... picky picky!)

It has to be something I can make tonight. Any good recipes out there?

4. Try this before you serve it
I mix some store bought brown bean dip into store red salsa and stir well. I love the combo and use celery as the dipper.

5. next time try a real Green Goddess
It's just delicious with raw cauliflower particularly.

1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teasp salt
1/2 teasp dry mustard
1 teasp worcestershire
2 tablespoons anchovy paste (may be omitted)
3 tablespoons tarragon wine vinegar (or vinegar and dry tarragon)
3 tablespoons snipped chives or scallions
1/3 cup snipped parsley
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup sour cream
1/8 teasp black pepper

I whirl this in a blender. It's from the Good Housekeeping cookbook.

Yummy!
