Callebaut Chocolate.
I almost forget to tell you all this but if you love Callebaut and don't want to buy the monster block at Costco, check out your local Whole Foods location, if you have one. When I went on Friday, there were mountains of one pound blocks in the produce and cheese sections. Tons of it! Dark, milk and white.

1. 10 lb blocks at Restaurant Depot
$21.95

Can Costco or Whole Foods beat that price?

My favorite, Valrhona, is $120 for 10 lbs. (You have to buy 10 lbs)
at RD.

I can't store 10 lbs of chocolate in my tiny, already overcrowded kitchen. So a couple one pound blocks does me just fine.

3. $21.95
Damn, that's a good price!

I haven't found a source yet since I'm new to Portland. Haven't seen it at Costco here either, nor in Phoenix. Last 5kg bar I bought was several years ago in LA, was in the $30-something range.

Lucky you to be a professional and have access to all the good stuff!

Gosh, Valrhona has gone up in price!

Anytime is a good time for good chocolate. :9 And it's always nice to share.

Speaking of chocolate, now that dinner's over, I gotta break some up and make some cookies for lunches this week! Then I'm done for the day! Yaaaaaa!
