or so my tv guide says anyway... 'course sometimes Charlie changes his show from what's posted.

2. Kewl. I'll be sure to catch it tomorrow.
As an aside, we're going to be traveling down 101 in a month or two & it would be no problem to make a little detour & eat lunch at the French Laundry. My question is would it be totally irresponsible of us if we blow off our children's inheritance? I think it's $240 a person for lunch.

3. I've been thinking about that place lately
There was a portion of Bourdain's book that talks about it. I'm intrigued. I remember many months ago seeing an ad on Craigslist, someone was selling either a reservation there, or a gift cert, it was something. I didn't know much about it at the time, so didn't really look into it.

Also, since I'm reading Ruhlman's book now, and he mentions that there's a west coast CIA (I had no clue) in Napa, it seems I might have to go exploring.

4. Just got back from the library with "The French Laundry Cookbook"
it's BIG. and HEAVY.

Should be fun weekend reading!
