I have been making homemade muffalettas since I got back |
|
from New Orleans. The best one was tonight:
Jar of olive salad (muffaletta) - Pagliacci Brand from our local Italian deli shop Fresh ciabatta loaf from Ralph's - quartered crosswise, then a quarter sliced horizontally in half Very thin sliced provolone, cotto salami, sopressata, and mortadella (w/ pistachios) - meats all Boar's Head Brand
I use meats more liberally than the Central Grocery did, lol. Yummmmmm. Oh, and a Corona Extra. While watching Olympics.

I love 'em, but don't eat them very often because of all the salt in the olives. But they are wonderful!

a corona? Sounds like a delicious meal to me.
A friend from Shreveport introduced muffalettas to me, and you're right, they are one great sandwich.

I wouldn't have to leave the house (nor would I want to) with that kind of set up. Enjoy the games!
