any ideas to take for the potluck? I was thinking of preparing meatball with pineapple tidbits, soy sauce etc. Any other ideas?

1. That sounds really good! |

Here is something simple, but you will have to use the broiler when you get there.
Pineapple-Bacon Appetizers
1 large can of pineapple chunks 1 lb. of bacon toothpicks
Wrap a slice, or half-slice of bacon around a pineapple chunk and secure it to the pineapple chunk with a toothpick.
Broil until the bacon is crispy. That's it!

That seems to be one of the most popular dishes in Hawaii.
