Slow youtube download.. What can I do?

Hi all,

I tried everything suggested on the youtube HELP feature but the site still is unusuable.

It takes about five minutes to fully download a 1 minute video. A twenty minute video takes all day.

I cleaned the cache, adjusted the firewall, installed Adobe Flash, uninstalled it and reinstalled it again... all to no avail.

What about reinstalling Windows XP? Would I lose basically all data? Including old emails?

1. Typically this is a network issue

how are you connected ot the nternet?

ie. Computer->wireless adapter->wireless router->cable modem
