Strange Firefox display behaviour.. |
|
In Firefox 3, if I happen to click anywhere on the page's background, I acquire a blinking cursor along the length of the object at that location. If it happens to be a large object, such as a news article's text, I wind up with a #$@%$# cursor running and blinking down the length of the page. It's very distracting. Although I don't think this is an intentional 'option', I do have blinking disabled via the config file.
Any thoughts? I'm using XP SP3
Thanks!

This mode can be toggled on/off by pressing the key.
Originally for debugging purposes, Caret Browsing is provided as a way to navigate through a web page using only the keyboard by moving a text caret.
