Hi all, I was using zonealarmpro for years & loved it, but I got a new computer & it runs Vista 64-bit. When I went to install zonealarmpro it said that it doesn't work on 64-bit (whatever the hell that is) so I've been using Windoze which I figure is good for keeping really, really, really large bugs out, but not much else.
Any firewall you would care to recommend that run on whatever-the-hell-64-bit means?
TIA

1. ZoneAlarm doesn't make a 64-bit version? Odd... |

...anyhoo, McAfee or Symantec would probably be just fine for you.

2. Trend Internet Security or Kaspersky Internet Security |

Norton and McAfee suck
64-bit is better: Allows more than 4GB of system RAM to be used, especially if the applications are made for 64-bit operation (most often these would be database apps, any Adobe app, et al)

http://www.comodo.com/Available in both 32 and 64 bit versions. You can run either or both the firewall and antivirus.

I've used several others, free and paid versions, I like Comodo the best so far.
You can tweak it to however tight or lax you want it and it is not hoggish either.

Just wanted to offer a variety.
Seriously, I recommend Comodo as well.

Looks like Comodo wins by a mile.
