Question re: volumn. I just bought a CMV LCD monitor with builtin
speakers. The volumn on my computer has all of the dials up as high as they will go and I can barely hear what's being said. Is there something else I'm missing or not doing to get the volumn higher? I am totally computer iliterate, but this monitor wasn't real cheap and I can't hear too well anyway.

1. No speakers on my LCD
But there is a row of buttons. One turns the monitor on and off, another brings up a menu that gives me options to adjust contrast, brightness, refresh rate etc.

Try fiddling around with the buttons on the monitor and see if you can find a menu. I bet the volume control is somewhere there.
