Spybot question: What is DSO Exploit? Should I delete? |
|
Edited on Fri Dec-16-05 08:09 AM by displacedtexan
What is "DSO Exploit?"
After running Spybot, 5 problems under the heading DSO Exploit were discovered.
All 5 are Microsoft related: "Data source object exploit" and "registry change." All start with HKEY_ USERS\S- and then a bunch of numbers.
Should I delete the 5 "problems" or not?

1. DSO exploit is a way to track your online activities |
|
Follow these instructions to delete: http://www.pchell.com/support/dsoexploit.shtmlAnd switch to mozilla (or opera) if you havn't already. DSO is IE related!

I'm using Mozilla, but IE is stalking me in the background (I haven't deleted it yet).

3. I do not think you can completely delete IE if you are running Windoze |
|
But switching browsers will eliminate most of the spyware/malware etc.
