Scan question.."Dataminer"

Can someone please explain what this is? When I scan my system with Ad-Aware, I always have X# of negligible items and always have X# of critical items. One of them seems to always be "Dataminer" Is this a particular company, a particular type of tracking? I would like to know why it is always there. Thanks. Perhaps my lack of computer knowledge shows by asking this question but I would like to know what this is. Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday to all.
