Anyone having trouble with Thunderbird 1.0?
I can no longer retrieve mail.

Yesterday was fine, this morning, nada.

Installed YahooPops, still nothing.

I hate web mail. But I can retrieve it there. Through my Yahoo home page.

Anyone else experiencing problems?

1. Not Thunderbird

The symptoms you describe seem to indicate a problem with your mail server. The program itself wouldn't simply stop working unless some change was made to it.

I gather you mean you're unable to retrieve e-mail from Yahoo using Thunderbird and YahooPOPs? Or, is it all mail servers?

If it is just Yahoo, it's probably Yahoo. They don't really like programs like YahooPOPs and are constantly changing things that make it not work quite the way it was intended.

3. Just thought of something ...

Do you have anything plugged into a USB port?

When YahooPOPs is active it can interfere with a USB port on some systems, or the USB port can interfere with it. It's a bit weird to me since I don't really understand how Yahoo mail and a POPs program work together, but anyway. You might check this.
