I'm watching The Dog Whisperer - Cesar Milian on Nat'l Geographic
A mother bought her 6yr old daughter a Rottie puppy. Now 2 years later the dog weighs 150 lbs more than twice the weight of the daughter. How dumb is that mom. Neither of them can control the dog. Furthermore, the mother hasn't made a commitment to train the dog. Second she expects the daughter be able to walk the dog.

OK let's go over something.

First please research the breed you plan on adopting or purchasing. Second if you are looking @ a dog look @ what the dog will weigh as an adult. IF you can't handle that size don't get the pup. Second take a look @ your lifestyle. IF the dog is a working dog and you don't plan to drain the energy or work the dog properly. Don't get the dog.

There's more I can say here but I need to get a drink of water. :grr:
