Murphee is taking to her new diet....
I've started feeding pellets and this pellets with fruit & veggie mixture to Murphee (my tiel) and so far she's really taking to it! That, with the usual dried and fresh veggies, fruit, etc. :)

Hopefully this balanced diet will be better for her than the mostly seed mixture she was having before. Maybe a lower fat diet will make her want to lay eggs less? I'm hoping so.

What do other bird owners feed their little ones?

1. Harrison's Hi-Potency Coarse, plus whatever I'm eating
Gideon's basic diet is Harrison's, it's all organic and human-grade. He also eats some of whatever I've got, usually when it's halfway to my mouth!

2. Harrison's
High Potency fine and dark colored veggies/fruits.

I do give my flock a high quality seed mix occasionally, and they get tree nuts as treats. They all love whole wheat pasta tossed with a sauce of baby food carrots, bell pepper bits, and any other veggies I am having for dinner.
