Thanks for the thoughts, Lorien. So, check this out: According to the home-care vet who put Zooey down tonight, she believes this was a classic case of the "dry" form of FIP. A disease with totally unrealiable testing and treatment. I'm very worried about here sister and the other three cats now. I hope they don't get this.

If you had known her, you would've loved her. And she would've loved you. She was the biggest mushball ever. It's not fair that she died so young.

Strange thing, though: one of the vets told me that Zooey's heart was also enlarged. Hell, I could've told her that without the ultrasound.
