1. I saw a WHOLE posse of greyhounds at the Petsmart

in Mason, OH this weekend. Looked like they were getting alot of attention! Hopefully some found a forever home. :)

They do wonderful things for the shelter I volunteer at.

3. the adopt-a-thon fizzled yesterday

hope today will be better

I was a bit disappointed - I volunteered to run the 'booth' from 1pm-4pm yesterday

I had expected the place to be packed with other groups - including us there were only 4 (and one of them was just trying to sell dog cookies)

The SPCA folks left around 2pm - so other than literature on a card table - that one was empty

the only other group there was a boxer rescue organization - they had 4 boxers there

as for our "booth" - it was just me and my greyhound "Mint".... a few people stopped to talk, one did take a brouchure and adoption application. I was relieved at 4ish. They'll be back today - hope it's a bigger crowd
