i'm getting ready to move in a couple weeks, and have an empty box out, and nikko sits in it constantly... mind you, he has nice cat toys EVERYWHERE, but no, it's the box he likes best.

the grocery bag is a close second tho ;-)

And good luck to you! I've heard that most cats would prefer to stay in the same environment with new people, than transported to a new house with the folks that they love. My friend moved and her cat, though in a lovely environment with huge windows and lots of space, just hissed at everything she saw, for at least a week. So be warned, LOL! But I think your cat is more enterprising! He's prescient and is getting prepared!:-)

7. What a lovely Russian blue mix Nikko is!

Pad Thai's favorite is little foil balls made from aluminum foil. He loves to fetch and retrieve and have me throw them again and again.

My kitties also love boxes, paper bags, anything they can get into.
Another thing my cats like are those milk jug tabs--the part you remove. Also soda bottle tops, bunched up pieces of paper. They are weird little creatures! Your cat is very beautiful by the way.

about moving to a new place, the good thing is, i've been able to get keys to my new place a little early, so he and i sneak over there every now and then, and he loves it. i figure i can get him used to it before the big move... lots more room, and a spiral staircase that he adores more than anything i've ever seen! ha

Nikko is adorable, I hope he adjusts well to the move. BTW, my Daemon loves to sit in cardboard boxes and chew the heck out of them. Don't need no stinkin' toys....
