Dot, while she's looking good
Of course, the cats are still sniffing her to see if the dog cologne the groomer uses has worn off yet...and turning up their noses when they find out it hasn't.

Did somebody say cookies?

I can remember my training when I want to.

No pictures please

I'll smile at you if you'll smile at me.

6. Yep. She was 13 weeks old when we got her.
But I've had pictures of her since she was about 48 hours old...sent by her breeder.

9. Thanks so much. They are adorable babies. Loved the doxie being
the big brother to the litter! Is Dot the one that was called Rose in
the pics? They were all so adorable.
She must be a real love.

14. Actually, one of the better breeders of the time
gave Jackie a very nice dog. I have no idea of what happened to him, though.

11. bouviers have, when they are groomed and their little pointed
ears bristled, a satanic charm. I LOVE bouviers. There are a lot of them here in Alaska.

12. It's hard for me to credit
that next year will be the 30th anniversary of the addition to this family of Charleroi's Xnasty Bold Bear...my first Bouv. Since I met the first one I'd ever seen earlier that year when we visited Holland, where my husband's aunt had them, I've been in love with this superbly intelligent, stubborn, stinky breed.

Dot was my last pup. I'm getting too old to keep up with them any more. Hopefully I'll always have one, but they will come as older rescues.
